Modern software-supported medical technology products are essential for the best possible care of patients. The specialization subject teaches skills relating to the implementation of automation projects. To this end, the subject areas of automation processes, communication and networking, software development as well as safety and reliability are taught. In addition to the practical application of the course content, the practical exercise also teaches skills relating to cooperation in interdisciplinary project teams.
